Jaunty Goat Coffee Company

Yesterday my friend Amy and I met in Chester for shopping, coffee and exploring the little back alleyways. Instead of heading to the usual likes of giant chain coffee shops we sampled the delights of the Jaunty Goat.

Head down to Bridge Street and the Jaunty Goat is a delightful independent with beautiful coffee and generous cake portions; the icing on the red velvet cake was delicious. The food and refreshment choices are varied without being overwhelming and they even supply their own range of coffee beans to other local businesses and stores.

The place was pleasantly bustling and, considering they made local news when the shop closed to move to new premises in 2015, the coffee and friendly service is obviously loved by many. Inside, the copper detailing, low hung lighting and bright frontage creates the perfect mood for coffee and chats.

Keeping Busy!

Such a successful week:

1. Monday morning saw me take on motorway driving without bringing harm to others!

2. I spent Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday down in London Town. My friend and I walked across the city, ate too much delicious food, drank the infamous Pumpkin Spice Lattes (FYI, amazing), and visited the National Archives in Kew.

Pumpkin Spice Lattes are definately worth the hype

3. On Friday I packed up my clothes and extra bits and pieces to move properly into my university room on Saturday, ready for Fresher’s Week and the start of term!
4. This week I have also started my second Blogging U course, Blogging 201; a free and casually timed series of assignments to improve the blogging experience for both blogger and reader. Such a busy week means I’m super behind on this whole course, but who’s checking, right?!

Have you been busy too? Sharing is caring…

Moose Coffee: Liverpool

I love a good coffee as much as the next stressed student. When it come with great food and quirky famous pictures with heads replaced with moose, I love it even more.

As a reward for a successful week, my friend and I had a large late lunch in a great cafe called Moose Coffee on Wednesday.

If you’re ever in Liverpool, head on over to Dale Street for some delicious American Style all day breakfasts with fun moose and State related names, milkshakes and fantastic pancakes along with a great atmosphere and super friendly staff. Perfect!
Wednesday saw my American food baby of scrambled egg with baby chorizo and fresh white toast, an amazing cookie dough milkshake and sharing some maple syrup and ice cream pancakes with my friend too!
